Social Desk is a service by AI Methods that plans, makes and publishes social media content for businesses, and answers enquiries on WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Your account: name, business name, mobile number, and optionally email and Instagram handle.
• Payments: plan, amounts and payment ids from Razorpay. We never see or store card or UPI details.
• Material you send: logo, photos, videos, menus, price lists, links and notes about your business.
• Your connected accounts: when you give Social Desk access to your Instagram, Facebook Page or WhatsApp Business account through Meta, we use it to publish posts you approved or scheduled, read and reply to comments and messages, and read performance insights. We also read your profile, Page details, past posts with their results, audience insights and reviews, and copy your own recent photos and videos into your private library, only to make your content. Commenters' names are never stored or published.
• WhatsApp enquiries to our own number: your number, name if you give it, and the conversation.
• Your decisions on the desk (approve, hold, change), with the number and time.

How we use it

Only to run the service you signed up for: make and publish your content, reply on your behalf, show you results, bill you, and support you. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising to others.

Where it is kept

Your account and desk on Google Firebase (Mumbai region). The material for your content in a private GitHub repository that you own and we work in as a collaborator. Payments with Razorpay. Messages to and from Meta platforms through Meta's APIs. AI models may process your material to draft content and replies; they do not keep it for training.

How long

While you are a client, and up to 90 days after you leave, unless the law requires longer (for example tax records of payments).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, and remove our access to your accounts in Meta Business Settings. See data deletion. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
